To Whom It May Concern,
As an 8th grader with a passion regarding art and science of our government, the letter in similarity to Governor Deval Patricks inauguration intrigued me. I am politically mobile with not only my develop government, still in addition with the world around me. I am part of legion(predicate) international petitions and websites that aspire to end international affairs and well-disposed issues, such as child executions and the lack of education and boot for females around the world, especially in the Middle East. I arrogate a firm academic understanding and am an Honors student. As a member of Student Government, I am active both academically and socially. However, I would like to take it a step further, and become involved with not just my school government, but also government of our city and state. This inauguration would be an honor and remarkable experience for me.
As a natural-born leader, I am a devoted Student Government member, but I also lead outside of my school.
Some of my tender experiences include: serving as a care extender at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital, participating the Walk for Hunger in Boston, helping donate and collect shoes for Shoes for Africa with BCC, participating in the annual Fall River Holiday Parade with my school, volunteering at soup kitchens by serving food, and cleaning up buffet lines, serving as an agile member of the Somali Bantu Community of Springfield, Inc. by regularly donating clothes, food and other necessities to Somali refugees. Also, I volunteer at the Islamic center of South coast Massachusetts, where I am present as a student aid. Here, I assist the teachers with basic tasks, and also contribute by educating the youngest children with lessons in basic Arabic vocabulary. On October 14, 2009, I participated as a panelist and asked questions regarding Fall River and its benefits at a Mayoral Debate.
