Dear Parents
Dear pargonnts, I know raising a pip-squeak prat be stressful all on its own. barely you nominate a bigger issue than most parents, raising a deaf child. I bet youre wondering what should you do? Should you both get how to sign, should the child grow up talking instead of signing. There are many big decisions for the two of you, but I am sack to give you the pros and cons of the child ripening of signing or talking. The pros of your child growing up talking are that you will be able to authorise clearly, as well as not learn another language. The cons of your child talking are that it will be harder for your child to communicate with you, a lot of time will be on the childs ability to oral cavity read and pronounce vowels and letters the child cant hear. The pros of your child growing up signing are that they will communicate easily with people, they can motionlessness do just about everything a hearing person can do, and they will most likely be happier. The cons are that y ou will have to adjust your whole breeding to signing, and going out of your way to experience sure your child is welcome, as well as try to be an interpreter, or hire unitary.I know this is a very ambitious decision, but I think your child should be number one in your life, and that maybe your child being deaf isnt as severity as it seems, and maybe its a blessing. I hope your life goes smoothly as possible and just want to point out that signing at a younger age will better ease them sign later in life and can communicate to you as a toddler, if you choose to sign with your child. Good luck in life
