Beowulf is already known as a hero in the kingdom because he got rid of there enemy. The warriors were worried to hear what he did and what he was going to do to Grendel. Beowulf went through his plan in his head like any good athlete would ahead a big game. As the Banquet continued to go on, Hrothgar thanked Beowulf and promised him credit if he did succeed.

Beowulf can be called one of the top heros because his put his life on the line for a kingdom. Beowulf thought his people would gain from all of the pride he stored up, but they got taught that the material things soulfulness earns in life cannot stop what God has in his allow for for us.
