The May 4th Movement was known as the aggrandizement of the Chinese people being dissatisfied with their governments weak swayer against foreign powers dividing up their country. Both new political and ethnical ideas surfaced during this nationalistic time. During this turn tailment many authors wrote of their ideas how Chinas culture must move beyond their traditional stances of how life should be. How did these authors present themselves and what methods did employ to submit their mean audience?
One of the biggest issues, if not the most important, was break of serve away from old date traditions to adhere to modern age progressive beliefs. Lu Xuns A Madmans Diary analogized cannibalism to the old-fashioned standards that sunk/ate away at Chinas people. Lu Xun tried to blade his message to the literate class as bold and shed light on as possible.
