Of the multiple area War II textbooks that are available today, Annihilation: a Global Military History of World War II by Thomas W. Zeiler has a different take and persona behind his bend than a normal historian competency suck in. Where many historians will note only the major battles and both briefly mention or ignore the smaller ones, Zeiler gives spacious information to satisfy the curious minds ab proscribed those missed out battles. The details are exact and at times the manner of speaking can be a bit too attractive for a struggle textbook, only when the history of the Second World War is explained in great precision. Zeiler also has given the referee the ability to understand the specific battles and campaigns and how they correlate to the larger determine that was the end goal for both the Axis and Allied powers.
