This is a reflective hear in relation to an incident which occurred during my scratch line ward placement. Reflection is a key skill for maintains and can be an central learning tool (Wilding, 2008). I encountered a tolerant who was admitted with confusion. For the first 24 hours he would just wander around the ward and sometimes sit at the entrance to the bay without make any problems to either the staff or the other patients. Up to this point he didnt show any signs of assault or frustration and posed no threat.
