Abstract
Nowadays, technology has become an integral part in our lives and is advancing extremely fast, from the phone we use to the highly scientific industrial apparatus; the purpose of technology is to make life easier. In education, technology has been quickly adapted to help students with disabilities bother the required standards. This technology has been labeled assistive Technology. From mobility devices such as wheelchairs to electronic devices such as computers, software, text to voice, TTY (telephone to text), any technical instrument that assists people can be considered helpful technology. hotshot group of students that can be greatly helped by assistive technology is those who have been diagnosed with summarize/HD. These students can be very bright but are not successful in the classroom because of lack of concentration that affects motor and cognitive skills. I worked with one of these students and assistive technology made a conflict in this persons life.
