On December 3, 2012 the first presidential debate surrounded by Barack Obama and Mitt Romney took place. The topic that was talked about the most throughout the lecture was The Nations economy. Romney had a great advantage with this beingness the economy being talked about the most. As most know, Obama state at the start of his first term he say he was going to lower the deficit, and in the end he doubled it. Governor Romney took this and used it against President Obama. In repartee Obama was unable to say anything for the simple fact it was true, and he could do practically nothing to defend himself. Romney was confident throughout the debate, different Romney; Obama choked on his words and slightly hesitated when beginning to speak. or so could say Romney won that one.
The debate was surely memorable. The Republican party candidate, Romney, constantly listed, he would count out everything, and so oftentimes it became incredibly repetitive and amusing. Then when the talk of education came, Romney brought up the fact that Massachusetts was the leading state education wise, that he forgot to mention that under his power Massachusetts was rated 47 out of 50 in job gain.



If job growth in his one state was so poor, imagine what it would be like for the whole nation. If you were paying attention I estimate the most amusing moment was when Romney mentioned discontinuing PBS, Big Bird, Elmo and the Cookie colossus better say goodbye if he is elected. As for both candidates, they constantly went over the allotted time for each segment, what was supposed to be two minutes extended into five minutes.
