Abstract
Studying somatic properties cargonfully crowd out be an important improvement for engineering design. It will befriend reducing number of product misadventures and be able to tempt the range of applications that each material can be used. In material engageion, we consider many properties of material so that we would select a material that suitable for the application. Mechanical properties testing atomic number 18 compulsory to test each material for us to accept about automatic properties of each material. There are 3 standard tests that are famous on testing the material. Those are tensile test, impact test and hardness test.
Introduction
Material alternative is an important designing process since in many failure products come from using the wrong material, so selecting material would required a study on properties of each material, then equivalence the material properties to choose the material suited for the application.
The important material properties that commonly considered are chemical property, physical property and mechanical property. Chemical property refer to the structure of material and its formation. bodily property relate to science of physics that can be measure while not destroying the material. Mechanical property shows the quality of the material after force is applied, normally relates to elastic and moldable behavior of the material and often measurements are obtain by destruction of material.
