2. Objective
This report aims to describe the establishment, production and utilisation of a non spy fodder crop to be conserved as pasture and fed as part of a mixed circumscribe of grass silage to productive dairy cows. Milk reach per cow is dependent on providing the correct type of nutrients at various phases of the lactation curve. Feed can represent surrounded by 30 to 60 percent of the input costs of producing milk.
The crop chosen is forage maize. For the purpose of this exercise the field I have chosen is Homes View 9.9/ha.
