Sassoon is trying to get himself a court-martial so that his views could be publicly aired, but sculpt is guaranteeing him that it is impossible to stop the war. Upon entering Craiglockhart we meet Psychiatrist William Rivers whose moving in it is to treat shell-shocked soldiers.
